AND GROUND UP LEADERSHIP
STRENGTHENING OUR COMMUNITY BY BUILDING PARTNERSHIPS
We are proud of the investments our work enables us to make within our community of Lexington and beyond. We’ve been blessed with some incredible opportunities to give back to the region we proudly call home. We sponsor UK athletics, as well as the Kentucky Proud Festival, supporting local. We underwrite for University of Kentucky’s alternate college radio station, WRFL 88.1. We sponsor Hot Mess, Lexington’s lgbtqia+ kickball team and we have the absolute honor to be a rainbow sponsor of Pride Lexington annually. We also work closely with local Boys and Girls Clubs as well as Big Brother & Big Sisters of the Bluegrass. We are passionate about making Kentucky a great place to live and visit. In partnership with VisitLEX, we have helped sponsor events including Railbird and Scarefest. We also proudly have trucks on standby for any natural disaster emergency situations.
Stick a Forcht in Hunger Annual Food Drive
Holidays represent the season of giving, and every year we are proud to donate canned and non-perishable items to the “Stick a Forcht in Hunger campaign”, contributing to the roughly 50,000 goods distributed each year to the local community.
Bluegrass PACE Center
In collaboration with Bluegrass Care Navigators, we were honored to provide all the labor in furnishing the first PACE Center in Kentucky. PACE standing for “Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly.” Bluegrass Care Navigators provide care for the community for everything from hospice care to addiction/homelessness resources, and we are absolutely honored to play a part, in that outreach.
Pride Festival Rainbow Sponsors
Aside from being a heck of a time, From Here to There is floored to collaborate with the Lexington Pride Center in bringing the Pride Festival downtown every June. We are staunch advocates of the golden rule, and, therefore firmly stand for acceptance, inclusivity and diversity. We are happy to do that in our community annually by setting up and breaking down Pride Lexington.
