How Do We Estimate?

Our service model is simple, you only pay the hourly rate as well as a travel fee, based on what town you are in and what size truck you need. Otherwise, there are no additional charges or fees unless you have a piano, gun safe/other significantly heavy items or pay with card (3%). That being said, we give estimates but it is not an exact science. We aim to quote high and beat the estimate. We pro-rate in 15-minute increments. Variables affecting move time include:

  • How close we are able to park the truck to your location

  • How many flights of stairs

  • Long hallways/long carry out to the truck

  • How much furniture

  • How many boxes

  • How many odds and ends (unpacked items)

  • Size of the elevator

  • How far your locations are from each other

  • Additional pickups and stops

  • How well prepared you are with where your items go within the home and whether items will fit.

  • How many items need to be disassembled and reassembled

  • Angles of the house

  • Inclimate weather

  • UK game day/other large events

While no move or collection of items is the same, the following can be used as a loose guideline to roughly account a time estimate. Results may vary based on whether you are a minimalist or a collector. Our team will efficiently transport your posessions, meticulously moving as fast as safely possible while on the clock and will take off any break longer than a restroom break.
